A Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) places a high-calibre graduate within an organisation to work on a genuine, commercially relevant project, supported by a leading UK university that provides the academic oversight and research framework. The industry partner provides the real-world challenges and commercial environment, while the academic partner ensures research integrity, methodological rigour, and knowledge transfer. As the KTP Associate, you bring your analytical expertise, modelling capabilities, problem-solving skills, and execution to deliver measurable impact. Unlike traditional academic placements, a KTP position is a fully paid professional role, offering a competitive commercial salary rather than a student stipend.

Who we're looking for

- A First-Class or strong 2:1 Master's degree, or its international equivalent
- Strong analytical ability in your chosen stream, evidenced by your coursework or prior work
- Willingness to prove that ability directly, rather than rely on your CV alone
The 7-day practical assessment
Instead of rounds of interviews, you'll work through a real commercial problem from your chosen stream over seven days. It's the same kind of task you'd be doing on the job — so it tells us, and you, whether this is the right fit before either side commits.
